First your students make their model using the colourful parts. Then they use it to look at the main parts of the eye. They can follow the path of light through the cornea, pupil, lens and onto the retina. If you print it in black and white, you can colour in the different parts.

The model covers the cornea, iris, pupil, lens, retina, optic nerve and blind spot.
