A colourful and interactive way to teach glycolysis!
It’s no wonder we all like eating sugar so much, when you see how groovy its breakdown is at a molecular level! Your students will make their very own colouful atomic modeling set so that they can perform the breakdown of glucose into two trioses, form ATP and reduce NAD by being the enzymes themselves! The investment and payoff phases are clearly seen in this interactive dance of molecules. You can cover some or even all of the steps of glycolysis with the model.
A simpler model suitable for less advanced students is also available. Click for details.
