Our bones support us, protect us and define us as vertebrates. Teach your students about their structure with our colourful model!
Students first make their bone using the colourful parts working alone or in small groups. They then use their model to identify the parts of a long bone including the compact bone, spongy bone, yellow bone marrow, shaft (diaphysis), central canal, blood vessel, epiphyseal plate and the ends (epiphysis).
This easy to make model is suitable for all ages of students.
It can be printed in colour, or in mono on coloured or white paper.
Includes full colour Powerpoint class presentation!
