Students first make their bone tissue using the colourful parts working alone or in small groups. They then use their model to identify the features of bone tissue. The model shows: compact bone, spongy bone, osteons, osteocytes, interstitial lamella, central canal, lamella, osteoclasts and the periosteum.
It can be printed in colour, or in mono on coloured or white paper.
