Origami Organelles was created in 2013 by Dominic and Melanie Delaney as a way of putting a 3D science model into the hands on every student - literally!
Our unique paper based modelling system was created from a fusion of a love of science (we are both former research scientists) and Dominic's experience of making origami models as a teenager - you never know when those things might be useful!
It just seemed to be an obvious way of making science more fun and easier to understand.
We started out by printing sets but soon found there was a demand for downloadable digital files that can be printed over and over again. There are more than 50 sets in the Origami Organelles range and we are adding to this all the time.
