Show why chocolate flowers are so special with our paper model!
Chocolate is eaten by millions of people every day but how much do we know about the cocoa plant that is needed to produce chocolate?
The chocolate (cocoa) flower has an extremely complex structure that only specialised pollinating insects can reach. This creates problems for cocoa farmers.
Our paper model teaches the unique structure of the chocolate flower. It also shows the structure of the cocoa pods with cocoa beans and the chocolate midge that pollinates these flowers.
Buy once, print forever!
Your students make their model of the cocoa flower and use it to identify the parts and their functions. They then look at the life cycle of the cocoa plant and the structure of the cocoa pods.
