Show how the sense of touch works with a paper model!
Our easy to make model shows how the skin receptors give us our sense of touch.
First your students make their model skin using the colourful parts. Then they use it to look at the receptors that are present to allow us to sense touch and temperature. The model can also be used to show the structure of the skin.
The model covers touch (pressure) receptors, temperature receptors, why some places are more sensitive than others and the structure of the skin.
