First, your students make their model of a starfish out of the colourful parts. Then, they build the starfish and then add the organs to the model.

The model can be used look at the anatomy of the major body systems. It covers the water vascular system (madreporite, stone canal, ring canal, radial canals, tube feet), digestive system (mouth, cardiac stomach, pyloric stomach, pyloric caeca, rectal caecum) and reproductive system (gonads, gonadopores).
