Oxygen made on Mars for the first time!

MOXIE is a device on NASA’s Perseverance Rover that has made oxygen from carbon dioxide (Smithsonian Magazine article). It heats it up releasing the precious oxygen. In this way NASA hopes to produce oxygen for astronauts living on Mars in the future.
