The structure and reactivity of esters are easy to understand with our unique molecular models that shows how electrons behave during bond formation.

Your students first build their easy to make paper models of atoms and electrons. They use these to form organic molecules by sharing electrons between the atoms. The differently coloured electrons make it easy to see how the bonds are formed.

The models can then be used to show naming esters, uses of esters, formation of esters, hydrolysis of esters, fats and oils, soaps and biodiesel.
